This is an EP, consisting of 4 tracks of various length, but with the common idea to show and reflect my views and imaginations around concrete pictures of nature. All tracks were made in 2007, except for Turbid Waves Of Blizzard's Breath, which were composed in the end of 2006. The sources I've used are mainly computer software (esp. experiments with distortion combinations), also live instruments (guitar, harmonica), a few samples of voices from films and my "alternative" field-recordings of hoover-pipe, TV, water vibrations in plastic bottle, and so on with microphones and a portable dictophone. The soundsheet is totally mixed, because I'm trying to use lots of programs in one composition, when different samples are blending at the microlevel. So, my CS-sources are: Reason, Sony Acid Pro v5.0a, Steinberg Cubase SX, FL Studio, Reactor, different versions of Sound Forge, and Adobe Audition. Tracklist 1. Rural Lullaby (Preparated sound of harmonica; rhythm made with microphone sounds, piano editor + samples, my voice, field recordings. An imagination of summer twilight in a village.) 2. When The Ice Breaks (The shortest one :) Main part - interpretation of recorded TV-signals, united in small one-note line with distorted echo.) 3. Tundra Ambient (Total echo play, pieces of flute emulator sounds, guitar and experimentation with an old Soviet hoover-pipe. Imagination: wide silent forest with high trees - in black and white colour.) 4. Turbid Waves Of Blizzard's Breath (Based on field recordings I've made in Jena, Germany. Wailing of the wind, water flowing through soft-distortion. Different ambient sounds + samples in more than 20 layers. Imagination: cold and thorny winter wind, violent, but magic.) Wish you to enjoy my music. With only best wishes, Demolyne) Kyiv,Ukraine
